I have been dragging a camera around as long as I can remember.

My parents spent sooo much money on film back in the day! I pursued photography as a hobby until it rolled into more and more payed gigs and I realized I could actually do this for work.

I wanted to sharpen my technical skills and get more in touch with my creative brain so in 2012 I enrolled at the New England School of Photography in Boston. While there, I focused on portraiture, documentary, and black and white film photography. In 2014 I graduated with portfolio honors. Documentary photography holds a very special place in my heart and my dream job is to travel the world as a photojournalist. But I love living near my family more. And I also just love photographing people. So it is important that I put that documentary style into my weddings. I have also shown my fine art in many galleries throughout the east coast and have a couple bodies of work that I continually add to.

My husband, Ben, and I eventually moved back to our hometown of Savanna, IL to be near family and its been a really great transition. We spend as much time as possible outdoors-kayaking, snowboarding, hiking, and mostly we enjoy being with our pet family- Jay the dog, Goose the cat, and our 9 pygymy/fainting goats: Spike, Paul Rudd, Ruth Bader Goatburg, Burt Reynolds, Gus Gus, Hopper, Tiny, Dos and Tres.

Let’s get to know each other over a coffee or cocktail!
