I can’t believe Chloe is graduating! While we were taking these pictures she reminded me of the first time I ever photographed her, it was back in 2012. I was learning new techniques with my flashes and coerced a few people into doing an Old Hollywood style shoot. The biggest thing I remember about that night was how completely frigid it was! This time around the weather was perfect. There was rain in the forecast but we managed to get some sunshine in near sunset.
First we headed over to the Jenny Grist Mill in Plymouth where we talked about how perfect an open field would’ve been. With the right perspective and lens combined with Chloe’s willingness to do pretty much anything, we made it look like she was in a field of flowers!
Next we walked over to the harbor and onto the docks.
As we were walking back to the car I spotted a row of brightly colored dinghies. The littlest one was Robin’s Egg blue and Chloe agreed to hop on in for a few more pictures!
